Very cool uses for Avon's
Skin So Soft Bath Oil. I had only heard that it is a great mosquito repellent for small children and animals. Also a nurse at one of our Avon meetings had mentioned that her clinic used it on children to get rid of lice? I personally have uesed it on the sticky residue from tags where the store has put the tag on the actual item.
It’s a bath oil and after bath moisturizer.
It can be used to remove makeup and it’s a great tanning oil.
It’s a hot oil treatment to soften cuticles and it is a great massage oil for tired muscles.
It’s an insect repellent for people and pets, and it relieves itching caused by bites and dry skin. A pediatrician recommended it for children, because it is non-toxic when children put their hands into their mouths. A veterinarian recommended it for dogs.
Sponge it around doors, windows and on screens to keep crawling insects out.
It is a good wood cleaner and conditioner for natural wood.
It removes glue and gum left from price tags and labels from glass, metal and most plastics.
It cleans tape marks left behind from bandages on the skin. It cleans ink from the skin and most vinyl and painted surfaces.
It cleans heavy oil and grease from the skin and non-porous surfaces. It removes soap scum from shower doors, shower curtains, windows and bathroom fixtures.
It removes lime and hard water deposits from fixtures, tile, shower doors and windows.
It removes tar spots from car finishes without damage to the paint. It is an oil lubricant for fitting pipes that won’t slip together.
Use Skin So Soft (with pump) to mist show animals. Brush in. Makes their coats gleam and keeps insects off so they do not fidget.
Additional Tip : If you are looking for an excellent cleaner for gold, sterling or other metals, try “lipstick” (any shade). Use a soft cloth to apply and another cloth or tissue to remove and buff. The results are unbelievable! Works great on brass and even copper.
